Can I use my National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding?
Yes. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will fund ABA services for children with ASD and other developmental disorders. We are not currently a registered NDIS provider, however, funding can still be used for those with ‘self-managed’ or ‘plan managed’ plans. If your plan is not currently self or plan managed, you can request for this to be changed by contacting your NDIS coordinator.
I don’t have NDIS funding yet, can you help us to access funding?
At Mosaic, we can assist with helping you access NDIS funding, by completing initial assessments, re-assessments and progress reports. We can also help with goal setting and implementing procedures to track your child’s progress towards their goals, to provide evidence that the service is effective in helping your child reach their goals.
How much does a program cost?
As our programs are tailored to suit each child’s individual needs, the cost of our programs will vary. During our obligation free exploratory discussion, we can decide what the best service will be for your child, and this will help determine the estimated cost of your program. Following your Initial Consultation and Skills Assessment, a formal quote for 12 months will be provided within your Initial Report.
What if my child does not have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis?
ABA is not just a treatment for children with an ASD diagnosis. ABA is based on the science of learning, which can be applied to all people. Our services are suitable for children with Autism, children diagnosed with other developmental disorders, as well as children with no specific diagnosis.
How quickly will I see results of the therapy?
Every child is different, our assessment will help determine the best program, tailored to each individual’s needs, that will see the fastest and most satisfactory results.
