Behaviour Technician (Casual / Part Time)

We are looking for Behaviour Technicians who are able to conduct sessions in the Sutherland Shire, St George region, Liverpool and/or Illawarra region. We currently have a range of Casual and Part-Time positions available, depending on level of experience and your availability. Further, the position requires you to work 1 to 1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities, generally between the ages of 18 months to 12 years of age, and in a range of settings (community, home, pre-school, school).

Requirements:
The successful applicant must be interested in a career in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and must have a genuine and keen aspiration to work with children with additional needs. Prior experience is preferred, but is not essential. University students currently studying in a related field (Education, Psychology, Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy) welcomed. Initial and ongoing training is provided, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Specific Requirements for this role include the following:

  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current NSW drivers licence and access to own car
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Mandatory Child Protection Training
  • Has obtained or is working towards a related qualification (ABA, Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy)
  • Applicants for the casual position must have a minimum of 10 hours availability per week
  • Has completed or is willing to complete The Happy Medium RBT 40 our online training – https://www.happymediumapproach.com/products/174659-The-Happy-Medium-RBT
  • Applicants for the part-time position must have at least 3 months experience as a behaviour technician and greater than 20 hours per week availability.

Senior Behaviour Technician (Full Time)

We are looking experienced Senior Behaviour Technician’s who are able to conduct sessions in the Sutherland Shire, St George region and/or Illawarra region. We currently have a full time position available.

The position requires you to work 1 to 1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities, generally between the ages of 18 months to 12 years of age, and in a range of settings (community, home, pre-school, school).

Requirements:
Applicants must have at least 1-2 years experience working in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis and must be working towards or have completed a degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Specific Requirements for this role include the following:

  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current NSW drivers licence
  • Access to own car
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR training
  • Current Mandatory Child Protection Training
  • Has obtained or is working towards a ABA qualification
  • Has completed or is willing to complete The Happy Medium 40 hour online RBT training course – https://www.happymediumapproach.com/products/174659-The-Happy-Medium-RBT
  • Has completed or is willing to complete the 10 hour on demand FTF Behavioural Consulting Practical Functional Assessment and Skill Based Treatment online course
  • Applicants must have full time availability (e.g., 9-5:30pm Monday-Friday)
  • Part-Time applicants may be considered.

All Senior Behaviour Technician’s at Mosaic Early Intervention have many opportunities for growth within our company. BCBA Supervision may also be provided to full time Senior Behaviour Technicians working towards this credential.
